Kendall Lott’s first serious foray in the public service sphere was a two-year tour with the U.S. Peace Corps in the Federated States of Micronesia, where he served as an economic adviser to the municipal council on the island of Satawan in Chuuk. After receiving his Master’s degree from The School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego, Kendall moved to Washington, DC, to work as a career civil servant at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Management and Budget, and the U.S. Department of Justice.

In 1997, he joined EDS, a Fortune 500 company later acquired by Hewlett Packard, where he continued his public service as a government consultant. He had a string of international assignments, managing multi-cultural teams responsible for bringing IT into the national governments of India, Malaysia, and Jordan. These projects focused on education, government operations, and citizens’ services.

Kendall joined M Powered Strategies in 2005, working as an organizational effectiveness consultant for senior executives and managers within the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Energy, and the Department of Health and Human Services. In 2008 he became the President and CEO of the company.
